Chennai-based Ramco Systems, a leading IT company has informed that it has received an order from Continental Carriers Pvt Ltd (CCPL), one of the India's leading Shipping & Transportation logistics service providers.

The deal includes Integrated Freight Management System (IFMS) and the fully integrated financial management accounting package.

Ramco Systems Limited is an international company which provides enterprise software and information technology services. It was originally established in 1989 as part of Ramco Industries. The company employs approximately 2,000 people worldwide.

Some of the key functions that Ramco IFMS will address for CCPL include Forwarding (full container load & less than container load) Freight consolidation (air & sea Cargo), cargo  load planning, Tariff management, Advanced manifest system (AMS), Transhipments, Customs clearance and a few more.

However, the financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
