London, Sept 5 : Large number of brothels in London offer full sex for as little as 15 pounds and employ women from more than 75 different nationalities, a new report has found.
In a bid to make the findings, researchers from the Poppy Project, which campaigns against the trafficking of women, acted as clients looking for sex and telephoned adverts listed in local newspapers.
The research team found 921 operational brothels across the capital, offering full sex for between 15 and 250 pounds.
They estimated that at least 1,933 women aged between 18 and 55 were working in the establishments, an average of two per brothel.

Confirming a report in the Sun newspaper, Scotland Yard said the incident, which happened on August 29, was being investigated.
The semi-automatic Glock 17 pistol was found by a member of the public in the toilet of a cafe of the Starbucks chain, where it had been lying for about 20 minutes.

The report by the Independent Monitoring Commission (IMC), set up to monitor paramilitary groups under the 1998 Belfast Peace Agreement, also stated that the IRA Army Council - the organization's ruling body - had "become redundant and serves no function."
