‘Sun Tech Days 2009’ To Be Held In Hyderabad From Feb 18Country’s premier software industry, Sun Microsystems is all set to organize its global annual developer conference at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Hyderabad February 18-20 for the third time in a row.

Apart from Hyderabad, the conference would also have its supporting sessions in Pune and Chennai.

In its press release, the company said that the three day event is fundamentally designed to display how developers can leverage Sun technologies, services and products to drive the next generation of technology innovation.

James Gosling, (Vice President - Sun fellow) and Matt Thompson (Senior Director - Cloud Developer Platform) would deliver the keynote speakers of the event.

Sun Tech Days 2009 would focus heavily on technologies around social computing, cloud computing, OpenSolaris and Java.

Confirming the development, Naveen Asrani (Senior Manager, Global Developer Relations and Programmes, Sun Microsystems) said, "Sun Tech Days will visit Hyderabad for the third time in a row. The audience in Hyderabad is very receptive to learning new technologies and this year’s event promises to be even more exciting with extensive sessions and updates on revolutionary Java technology and award-Winning NetBeans IDE."

Asrani further added that the main objective of the conference would be to promote innovation, collaboration and integration among the developer community in order to drive innovation.

The final day of the event will be 'University Day' which will include demos, sessions on the hottest technologies like Zembly and Java FX.
