Motorola smartphone to recognise your fingerprint

London, May 5 : It's a phone, a laptop, a PC and recognises its owner by his fingerprint. Motorola's ATRIX is being marketed as the world's most powerful smartphone packed full of tech wizardry "any aspiring spy can be proud of".
The ATRIX smartphone can be plugged into a range of docks that convert it into a laptop, personal computer, media centre, or a sat-nav, the Daily Mail reports.
It is the first smartphone to operate with fingerprint recognition to ensure it can only be activated by the genuine owner.
Sales and revenue are dialed down at Motorola

New York - Weak cell phone sales dialed down first quarter sales and revenue at Motorola, the company reported Tuesday. But it predicted that a series of new phones, powered by Google's Android operating system, would turn its fortunes around later this year.
Motorola's net loss grew to 231 million dollars, compared to 194 million dollars a year ago. Sales slumped to 5.37 billion dollars compared to sales of 7.4 billion dollars last year.
The company's problems stem from its inability to come up with a successor to its hit Razr phone earlier in the decade.
