New Delhi: A recent study has divulged a stunning fact that one in every 28 e-mails received by Indians is infected i.e. carrying virus that makes their computers highly vulnerable to virus attcks.
Bangalore: Zicom Electronics Security Systems intends to open 180 exclusive retail outlets in India by the next 30 months. The company is also eying sales in the Middle East countries, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Santonu Choudhury, Zicom CEO, said Zicom presently has 20 outlets in India and 50 shops-in- shops in big stores and malls.
Washington, Sept 6 : A research suggests that mobiles should be kept at least one meter away from hospital beds because they can cause electromagnetic interference (EMI) that may interrupt, obstruct, or otherwise degrade or limit the effective performance of critical care equipment.
Scientists verified that electromagnetic interference (EMI) incidents from second and third generation mobile phones happened at a mere three-centimetre distance.
SRIHARIKOTA: On the Sunday evening, when the Indian batsmen were on rampage against England, the GSLV-F04 carrying the 2130 kg communication satellite Insat-4CR successfully lifted off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, taking a precession path, injected the satellite into a geosynchronous transfer orbit.
After the success of the launch, the ISRO chairman G Madhavan Nair said, "I am happy to announce the complete success of the mission."
New Delhi: India is all set to launch a new communications satellite on September 2. According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the launch of India’s latest Communication Satellite - INSAT-4CR has been delayed by a day to September 2 because of the existing weather conditions in Sriharikota.
ISRO said, "INSAT-4CR, which was earlier scheduled to be launched at 1630 hrs on September 1, will now be launched on September 2 at 1621 hrs."
