Courtney Love to release new album via ''pay-what-you-want'' scheme

Courtney LoveWashington, Jan 10 : Courtney Love's fans would not only love her new album for its content but also for the price, for the rocker has left it for them to decide how much to pay for her forthcoming LP.

The former Hole frontwoman is wrapping up her latest album `Nobody''s Daughter', which comes after five years and will hit the shelves in Feb (09).

And now, following in the footsteps of British band Radiohead, the singer is planning to release it via a ''pay-what-you-want'' scheme.

"There''s millions of people worldwide waiting on this record. Well, maybe, there''s 10! But in any case, I assume there are millions because in the past there have been millions," Contactmusic quoted her as saying in her MySpace. com blog.

She wrote: "My strategy is to make it available to people in every country for free and for what you feel I deserve..."

Radiohead released their last album, `In Rainbows', using a similar ''pay-what-you-want'' experiment. (ANI)
