Indian man jailed 12 years for killing his Malaysian boss Kuala Lumpur  - A Malaysian court sentenced an Indian man to 12 years in jail for causing the death of his employer who he claimed had sexually abused him and two of his fellow countrymen, reports said Thursday.

Nagarajan Vaithilingam, 27, from Tamil Nadu, India, pleaded guilty to the charge of causing the death of his 33-year-old employer by hitting him on his head with a stick at a barber shop in the southern Johor state in May 2007.

Two other defendants, whose names were given as Murugesan, 36, and Ramalingam, 19, who worked at the same barber shop were also charged but acquaitted following his guilty plea.

The three men earlier told the court that they confronted their boss after being sexually abused over a period of time, the New Straits Times newspaper reported.

Vaithilingam's 12-year sentence will be applied retroactiveky to the date of his arrest in May 2007, while Murugesan and Ramalingam will be handed over to the immigration as their work permit expired last year. (dpa)
