Lebanese president arrives in Amman for state visit

Amman - Lebanese President Michel Suleiman arrived in Amman Sunday for a two-day state visit, the first to Jordan by a Lebanese head of state in nine years.

He was due to have talks with King Abdullah II, who received him at the Marka airport, on latest regional developments, steps achieved towards national reconciliation in Lebanon and means of boosting bilateral ties, officials said. (dpa)
