Luca Toni back in Munich training - set to play in Wolfsburg

Luca Toni back in Munich training - set to play in Wolfsburg Munich  - Luca Toni is set to return into Bayern Munich's lineup for Saturday's big Bundesliga match at VfL Wolfsburg from a five-week injury layoff.

The Italy striker resumed training on Monday after being sidelined with Achilles tendon problems which made him miss Bundesliga and Champions League games for Munich as well as two World Cup qualifiers for his home country.

"I feel good," Toni told Munich's website. "I am happy to be back in training with the team."

Coach Juergen Klinsmann welcomed Toni back with open arms for the big game as Munich's other first-choice striker Miroslav Klose is out until at least the end of the month with an ankle injury. Munich and Wolfsburg are both one point behind leaders Hertha Berlin.

"This is a defining game in the title fight. We definitely want to have him on the team. He can make the difference," said Klinsmann. (dpa)
