It is good news for all those who want to get information without spending too many Kbs, and now they can have it all via the Wikipedia’s newly launched mobile site.

The users can ask their queries and get answers to their entries via a search page that has replaced the old Wikipedia start page. Furthermore, except for Wikipedia logo, there is no use of graphics and it is being seen as an effort to make sure that the site is not very heavy and loads quickly and is optimized even for the most basic of phones with a WAP browser.
