On Wednesday, a commencement address of President Obama at the Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut will help move forward his push for urgent action to fight climate change as a national security imperative. He will talk about the idea that the warming of the planet leads to an ‘immediate risk’ to the United States.

The speech is related to an attempt by President Obama to create a multipronged case for his climate-change agenda; he sees the agenda as a top main concern for his remaining time in office and considers it as a main element of his legacy. He said that his plan is beneficial for the economy and very important to the nation’s security. He said so instead of promoting his plan strictly in environmental terms.

In a rather shocking incident that surfaced on Tuesday, a math teacher at a school in Atlanta, has been accused of letting middle school students to have sex in his classroom’s closet.

25-year-old Quentin Wright, a math teacher and coach at the Champion Theme Middle School in Stone Mountain, allegedly allowed his students to take turns and have sex in the storage unit in his classroom.

Potential IRS Spinoff Amendments Induces Yahoo’s Share Slump

Air-Bag Recall expands to 34 million cars as Takata admits defects

In the largest automotive recall in US history, it has been decided that car makers will fix faulty air bags in around 34 million vehicles after Japanese parts supplier Takata Corp. bowed to pressure from regulators on Tuesday.

The move has doubled the number of vehicles already targeted by the recall, which has aimed at repairing malfunctioning air-bag inflaters that can explode and send shrapnel flying into cars.

The recall is expected to be conducted by up to 11 auto makers, would be one of the largest actions for any industry. In the early 1980s, around 31 million bottles of Tylenol were recalled.

Harbor Seal spotted in Rancocas Creek in New Jersey

Wildlife experts said that a harbor seal has apparently followed a run of herring, ending up at the Rancocas Creek in New Jersey.

Bob Schoelkopf, Marine Mammal Stranding Center founder, said that it's not atypical of seals to follow herring during spring and lose track of how far upstream they've come.

He said that seals have an attraction towards food, due to which as long as they are full they are happy. Once they run out of food, they’ll go back down into the Delaware Bay and back out into the open seas.

According to reports, a number of passengers preferred to have tomato juice on planes. But, why people accept such food on planes? Researchers of a new study claimed that they have found why people are so inclined to the tomato juice even at 30,000 feet above the earth's surface.

The new study has been conducted at Cornell University. According to the study, it is all due to the noise levels on the flight. Food scientists at the university studied how the increased decibels on a plane could affect the palate. The scientists said they found that noise of the airplane enhances the umami, a strong and salty taste found in some foods, taste that is usually found in the tomato juice.
