'Slow growth may push China into economic transition syndrome'

Beijing - As China's economic slowdown continued, the world's second largest economy faced the prospects of being trapped by "economic transition syndrome" of dependence on stimulus measures, an influential state-run think tank has warned.

China's economy is in transition from an industrial economy into a post industrial economy where both international and domestic markets can no longer support high speed growth of industrial sectors, state-run Global Times quoted a report by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).

Swine flu death: Nadda says no need to panic

J P NaddaNew Delhi, Dec 27 : Two days after a woman from Ghaziabad died due to the swine flu, Union Health Minister J P Nadda on Saturday said there was no need to panic over the disease.

"I want to assure people there is no need to panic, Health Ministry is capable enough to deal with it. 17 government hospitals in Delhi have adequate medical facilities to deal with this disease," said Nadda.

The Health Minister appealed people to visit nearest the government hospital if any case of swine flu is observed.

Kodak to introduce its Android-powered smartphones in 2015

The smartphones would be aimed at photography enthusiasts that would also make it easier for them to print and share images.
