New York, Sept 18: Anyone would jump at a chance to be on Oprah Winfrey’s show, but surprisingly, Rosie O'Donnell has declined the talk show host’s offer.
 
Winfrey invited O'Donnell on her show to discuss the comedienne’s latest book ‘Celebrity Detox’, which lambastes Barbara Walters, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, Donald Trump and others.
 
A source said that instead, O'Donnell is doing an interview with Diane Sawyer.
 
“She's doing an interview with Diane Sawyer instead,” the New York Post quoted a source, as saying.

London, Sept 18: Football ace David Beckham is turning into a ‘Spice Boy’, for the soccer player has been helping his wife practice her moves for the upcoming Spice World tour.

The Spice Girls’ tour choreographer Jamie King has asked the girls – Victoria, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell to involve their beaus for practice ahead of their tour.

A source revealed that Becks is happy to be a part of the tour, seeing his enthusiasm, the other girls have also roped in their blokes.

Washington, Sept 18: Mary Louise Parker’s rep confirmed that she has adopted a baby girl from Africa. The 43-years-old actress was spotted with her adopted daughter while she travelled to this year’s Emmy Awards.

A source praised Parker for being a wonderful mother.

"Mary-Louise is such an incredible mom," People quoted the source, as saying.

"She couldn't be happier about this," the source added.

However, Parker’s rep denied disclosing more information about the adoption.

Giving water-ski lessons to his seven-year-old son Dylan has actor Michael Douglas reminiscing about his own youth. The Oscar winning actor spent the summer teaching his son water-ski on a lake he owns in Canada.

The Falling Down actor recollected days of teaching water-skiing in Connecticut.

"When I was a young kid in high school I used to teach water-skiing in Connecticut... I was 16," Contactmusic quoted Douglas, as saying.

Douglas, who is also a certified scuba diver, faced a serious skiing accident in 1980.

Washington, Sept 18: Scientists have revealed that exercising right after eating a meal high in fat content may help people keep in shape.

Max Lafontan and his team examined how fat breaks down in both lean and obese individuals who exercised after either fasting or eating a high-fat diet.

They found that when either a lean person or an obese individual exercise after having a meal of high fat content, their fats break down and get oxidized in the skeletal muscle, which makes them healthier.
