Varun-DhawanMumbai, April 7 : Varun Dhawan, whose latest release "Main Tera Hero" has won him a lot of praise, finds comparisons unfair with comedy star Govinda. The 26-year-old says he has his own distinct way of entertaining the audience.

"I am still new to the industry but I try to make people laugh in my own way," Varun said here in an interview.

"Chi Chi bhaiya (Govinda) is a legend and it will be very unfair to compare me to him. He is a great actor," he added.

In "Main Tera Hero", directed by his father David Dhawan, Varun plays a flirtiuous and comic character named Seenu.

A field test by a plant scientist from University of California, Davis has demonstrated that elevated levels of carbon dioxide inhibit plants' assimilation of nitrate into proteins.

“Food quality is declining under the rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide that we are experiencing,” said lead author Arnold Bloom, a professor in department of plant sciences.

Mahendra-Singh-DhoniDubai, April 7 : The International Cricket Council (ICC) Monday announced the men’s Team of the Tournament for the World Twenty20 in Bangladesh, with India’s Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its captain.

The team includes four players from India, two each from South Africa and the West Indies, and one each from Australia, the Netherlands and Sri Lanka.

Chosen by a select group of experts, the team was aimed at being suited for Bangladeshi conditions, on the basis of performances at the just-concluded World T20 tournament. Statistics were used but were not the sole basis for selections.

NASA probe set to meet death on moon!

LADEE-probeNew York, April 7 : A NASA spacecraft that was launched last September to collect scientific data from the lunar surface is set for a natural death on the moon later this month.

The LADEE probe (Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer) is expected to hit the far side of the moon not visible from the earth and naturally decay, NASA said in a press release.

The scientists are, however, trying to ascertain that LADEE does not harm the moon's surface.

The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) of the S&P Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 22,355.56 points, was trading at 22,247.63 points around 1.40 p. m., down 111.87 points or 0.50 percent from the previous day's close at 22,359.50 points.
