Karachi, Feb 6 : Former Pakistan coach Mohsin Khan has said that the team''s 211-run drubbing in the first Test in Johannesburg at the hands of the Proteas was a result of the team''s lack of determination, fighting spirit and killer instinct.

Pakistan were bowled out for 49 in the first-innings, their lowest total in the format, before being dismissed for 268 in the second innings to hand a 1-0 lead to South Africa in the three-match series, reports The Express Tribune.

New York, Feb 6 : Lindsey Vonn, who is rumoured to be dating legendary golfer Tiger Woods, wrecked her knee in a gruesome crash while racing in world championships in Austria on Tuesday.

According to US Ski Team medical director Kyle Wilkens, the 28-year-old sportsperson tore both the ACL and MCL in her right knee and suffered a fracture of the lateral tibial plateau, the New York Daily News reported.

Her ski team has said that Vonn will be out for the remainder of this season but is expected to return to racing for the 2013-14 Audi FIS World Cup season and the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi.

London, Feb 6 : Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton has revealed he wants to take his new British bulldog puppy to all 19 rounds of the F1 calendar with him.

The 2008 champion, who has plunged into life with his new team Mercedes at the start of a three-year 60 million pound deal, is extremely proud of the puppy, named Roscoe, reports the Daily Mirror.

The Mercedes F1 ace said he has wanted to own a dog since he was a child. Hamilton said Roscoe is his "new best buddy". He further said that his mother has five dogs.

Roscoe even has a passport and is going to travel around with Hamilton.

Lahore, Feb 6 : British-Pakistani boxer Amir Khan has arrived in Lahore to make preparations for his wedding.

Amir got engaged to Pakistani-American student Faryal Makhdoom on January 29 last year and will get married to her this year in New York, reports The Nation.

Amir visited the Data Darbar shrine where he prayed for his success and for the success of other Muslims across the world.

He later went out for wedding shopping with his fiancé, father Shah Khan and brother Haroon.

Sydney, Feb 6 : Red Bull racing boss Christian Horner has said three-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will not receive preferential treatment ahead of Mark Webber this year.

Webber has openly wondered about his preferential treatment as far back as 2010, but Horner said until one driver began to show a clear winning trend compared to the other, the 36-year-old Australian would be given the same options as Vettel, reports the Herald Sun.

Horner said Mark has been with team seven years, and he knows he''ll get equal treatment, that''s why he''s chosen to stay with Red Bull.
