Rod Stewart’s loses £125,000 in two supercars auctionLondon, March 14: Veteran British rocker Rod Stewart, 64, suffered a loss of 125,000 pounds when two of his supercars were sold at an auction in London.

While the rocker had bought the Ferrari Superamerica and the sky-blue Lamborghini Gallardo for 150,000 pounds each, the two vehicles fetched altogether about 175,000 pounds, just over half their original price.

"Rod is known for being tight-fisted. He will not be happy," the Sun quoted a spokesman for auctioneers Coys as saying.

Meanwhile, according to reports, pop star Michael Jackson will be renting Stewart's Essex mansion as he performs his London comeback tour at The O2 in July.

Stewart's pad, located just 3½miles outside Greater London, is set among the 180-acre Copped Hall estate.

It even has a five-a-side football pitch. (ANI)
