It was Himesh Reshammiya's birthday yesterday and the man hasn't stopped smiling even as a day has passed by. Reason being that he managed to convince his parents to compose and sing a song that would be primarily a `family only' affair. Titled `Taara Vina', the song is in Gujarati and while Himesh's dad Vipin Reshammiya would be composing it, he would also be coming behind the mike along with wife Madhu Reshammiya to sing it.

Renowned South Indian actress Nayantara has bagged a role in the sequel of Mammootty starrer award winning Malayalam movie Mathilukal. The sequel, which again stars megastar Mammootty, is titled Mathilukalkkappruam.

Interestingly, the role to be played her was supposed to be essayed by Bollywood actress Vidya Balan. However, now Nayantara has replaced her. The original film was directed by national award winning film director Adoor Gopalakrishnan in 1989.

As expected, Pratyusha Banerjee was officially unveiled as the new Anandi. Thus the suspense factor had long gone out of the window. All were simply interested in seeing what show Colors put up at the press conference. It turned out to be quite a spectacle. There was no shortage of drama as Colors turned back the clock and unveiled Pratyusha in the same manner as they did for Avika in 2008.

National Film Award-winning Indian dancer Prabhu Deva, who is also known as actor, choreographer, and film director, is the newly added cast of the bilingual period drama Urumi.

Directed by Santhosh Sivan, Urumi is a bilingual movie in Malayalam and Tamil. Prithviraj and Genelia are signed in the lead roles as reported earlier. The story deals with a group of people, who wanted to slay the Portuguese explorer Vasco Da Gama.

`The Boy who wanted to kill Vasco Da Gama', is the tag line of the movie, which has Genelia in the role of a Portuguese princess.

Recently, the Titanic actor, Leonardo DiCaprio was allegedly accosted by a bunch of fans in, of all places, the toilet! This incident happened during a new soccer match.

The actor was recently at the World Cup in South Africa. He was watching the quarter final game held between Brazil and Holland and later decided to take a quick loo break. He however never anticipated that, he had to be rescued right after his stall was rushed by a large number of by men and women, all desperate to catch a sight of him. These `fans' were desperate to see him do his `task' in the bathroom.

The most recent Hollywood rumor is that the renowned movie production company, Warner Bros might just again be moving in to make a Wonder Woman film. The rumor mills also claim that WB has roped in screenwriter David S. Goyer, who scripted for Batman Begins.

Although it's possible that this entire movie rumor is a direct outcome of the ever popular Comic-Con, there can be some truth to the whole deal.

Warner Bros and Wonder Woman haven't quite been the best of friends, according to past records. She has been treated like some outcast stepchild, when it comes to making a film on her.
