Fisherman encounters Strange Creature

A fisherman in Penghu, Taiwan, had a great day as he was able to record a video of a long green worm-like animal having a pink protrusion. Soon after recording the video, he shared it on his Facebook account.

Experts affirmed that generally ribbon worms live in sea, but they are able to crawl on land. They live in tropical and sub-tropical regions. The worms also have a special proboscis, which they use for feeding.

Ladybugs displaying Most Colorful Exteriors have Most Toxic Chemical Defenses

If you think that there is just one type of ladybug having red wings and black spots then you are wrong. There are many species of ladybug and a new research has found that their colors reveal the level of their toxicity.

China’s Greenhouse Gas Emissions to Peak sooner than its Initial Pledge

As per a research by the London School of Economics (LSE), China will be able to peak gas emissions five years earlier than it initially thought.

The researchers have praised the nation’s adoption of a cleaner economic growth model for being able to achieve the targets earlier than promised. According to the analysis, the targets can be achieved by 2025.

The report’s author Lord Nicholas Stern and researcher Fergus Green from the Grantham Research Institute at LSE were of the view that the news is highly positive one for the world. The finding improves the chances of achieving the target of two degrees Celsius, which is a goal being agreed upon by rest of the nations in order to prevent the worst impacts of climate change.

US woman start journey to row solo across Pacific in her 23-foot long vessel

An Orlando athlete becomes the first woman to set for an up-to-six-month solo journey across the Pacific by rowboat Sunday.

Sonya Baumstein set out on 6,000-mile Pacific crossing by rowboat named the ‘Icha’, short for an Okinawan phrase meaning ‘once we meet we’re family’. It is a 23-foot-long vessel that weighs less than 660 pounds and has no motor or sail.

She waited for weeks to set out in her custom-designed rowboat from Choshi, a port east of Tokyo, headed for San Francisco.

Only three other rowboats have made the journey, and no woman has done it alone. On Sunday, she rowed out of the marina, a tiny sliver on the glittering horizon to finish the 6,000-mile journey by late September.

US Air Space to develop unmanned super-fast weapon by 2023

The US Air Force is getting near the testing of an unmanned aircraft, a hypersonic weapon fly at least five times the speed of sound.

The weapon is being developed is based on an experimental scramjet or Supersonic Combustion Ramjet program. According to NASA, in a scramjet the oxygen needed by the engine to combust is taken from the atmosphere passing through the vehicle rather than from an onboard tank.

Researchers anticipate that scramjet could reach 15 times the speed of sound. For example, an 18-hour trip to Tokyo from New York City becomes a 2-hour flight.

Though scramjet, army aircraft traveling at that speed could reach targets before they’re detected.

Cataclysmic climate event to cease civilization this September

Conspiracy theorists have claimed that giant asteroid will hit Earth and wipe out humanity in three months.

Various blogs and websites have predicted that Earth will crash into giant space rocks on September 24, 2015.

Theorists have claimed that governments of world’s leading nations are well aware of the approaching catastrophe. However, they are keeping the information from the public to prevent mass panic.

Many biblical theorists maintain that events will trigger the Rapture and the start of a seven-year tribulation.

However scientists have dismissed the claims by saying that almost all asteroids are destroyed by the extreme atmospheric friction heating they receive when flying into Earth.
