London, July 30 : Former Brazil football team manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has been named as the new coach of Brazilian top-flight team Gremio.

Scolari resigned as national boss earlier this month after he failed to guide the World Cup 2014 hosts to the finals, as they finished fourth in the tournament, The BBC reported.

Under Scolari's reign Brazil lost 7-1 to Germany in the semi-finals before Netherlands beat them 3-0 in the third-place play-off.

During the encounter Captain Harry Wales cheekily asked the 'World's fastest' runner whether he worked out after Bolt asked him the same exact question, News. com. au reported.

Washington, July 30 : First man-made breathing leaf has been created that will act as an "oxygen factory" during space exploration.

Julian Melchiorri from Royal College of Art has developed this biologically functional leaf consisting chloroplasts that takes in carbon dioxide, water, and light and releases oxygen, Cnet. com reported.

He said that the leaf material had an amazing property of stabilizing (the chloroplast) organelles and as an outcome he had the first photosynthetic material that was living and breathing as a leaf does.

London, July 30 : Eva Green has appeared naked in the latest trailer of 'Sin City 2', even after the movie's poster was banned due to the excessive nudity.

The 34-year-old French actress, who plays Ava Lord in `Sin City: A Dame To Kill For`, appears to be naked or involved in sex, but her body is mostly shielded by smoke, shadows and craftily placed co-stars, the Daily Star reported.

New Delhi: Auto components firm Bharat Forge on Wednesday reported 60.01 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 144.97 crore for its first quarter ended June 30, 2014-15, on the back of higher sales.

The company's net profit stood at Rs 90.60 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, Bharat Forge said in a filing to the BSE.

Total net sales of the company in Q1, 2014-15 stood at Rs 964.33 crore, up 24.96 per cent compared to Rs 771.65 crore during the same period 2013-14.

Mumbai - Bharti Airtel shares on Wednesday jumped nearly 6 percent after the company reported a 60.9 percent rise in its consolidated net profit for the June quarter.

Scrip of the country's largest mobile operator surged 5.51 percent to Rs 373.90 -- its 52-week high on the BSE.

On the NSE, the stock jumped 5.74 percent to touch a one-year peak of Rs 374.30.

The stock was the top gainer among the blue-chips on both Sensex and Nifty during the morning trade.
