Mumbai, Dec 9 : With four back to back hits this year, it is quite natural for Deepika Padukone to lead the nomination categories at award functions. The actress has been nominated in four categories at the BIG Star Entertainment Awards this year.

The fourth edition of BIG Star Entertainment Awards is scheduled to take place Dec 18, said a statement.

New Delhi, Dec 9 : A day after election results threw up a hung assembly for Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Monday said it would try its "level best" to give a government to the people.

"It is our responsibility to give a popular government to the people of Delhi. We will find out the solution and try our level best to give an alternative to the people of Delhi by forming a government under the leadership of Harsh Vardhan," former BJP president Nitin Gadkari, who was also the party's in-charge for the Delhi elections, told a news channel here.

Sagami Rubber industries Co Ltd, a Japanese condom manufacturer, has claimed to have produced the world's thinnest condoms, which measure merely 1/6th of a human hair in thickness.

The new condom called "Sagami Original 0.01," as the name suggest is just 0.01 millimeters thick. It may be noted here that an average human hair measures 0.06 millimeters in thickness.

It took more than ten years for Sagami Rubber to design and develop the new condom. The company put as many as 20,000 condoms through rigorous stress tests to make sure they do not fail when used.

Washington, Dec 9 : In a major breakthrough researchers have reported how meditation impacts genes and their actions, which results in swift recovery from a stressful situation.

A new study by researchers in the US, Spain and France reports the first evidence of specific molecular changes in the body following a period of mindfulness meditation.

The study investigated the effects of one day intensive mindfulness practice (intensive focus) in a group of experienced meditators compared to a group of untrained control subjects who engaged in quiet non-meditative activities.

Los Angeles, Dec 9 : Actor-director Ben Stiller enjoyed making his latest film "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" so much that he may give up acting for directing.

Stiller praised the three years he worked on the film, set for Jan 3 release next year, as an "incredible experience" and "a gift".

"As a director, I feel much more freedom. There are just so many different kinds of movies that I can make that aren't limited by who I am as an actor. I definitely could see myself just directing, for sure. That's where I'd love to end up," Stiller said in a statement.

New Delhi, Dec 9 : In order to expand and contribute towards the digital inclusion drive in Punjab, Bharti Airtel will invest over Rs. 4,000 crore in the next five years, a company statement said here Monday.

Airtel and the Punjab government Monday signed an agreement on the sidelines of the Progressive Punjab Investors Summit, under which Airtel will take its high speed 4G LTE services to all towns and villages across the state.
