A novel study has found that a majority of health professionals go to work when they are sick. In fact, it would not be wrong to affirm they know the best in such a condition they should not go to work.

Julia Szymczak at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and colleagues conducted a survey in which 500 physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, physician assistants and certified nurse midwives took part.

Majorly all of them have agreed that working while being sick can put their patient at risk. However, then also 83% of them said that they come to work while being sick at least once in the last year. Their ill health includes working with a fever, diarrhea and respiratory problem.

A government report has raised concerns by unveiling that polar bears' population has been declining alarmingly. There is a probability that global warming could make polar bear an extinct species. Therefore, the government is coming up with a recovery plane for the species.

The report has stated that around a third of all polar bears could face the risk of extinction due to greenhouse gas emissions. Rebecca Noblin, Alaska director for the Center for Biological Diversity, said, "There are other steps we can take to slow the decline of polar bears, but in the long run, the only way to save polar bears in the Arctic is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions".

A white whale was seen over the weekend in the Cook Strait. It led to speculations that an albino humpback has been discovered, but when the images were compared then it was found that the whale was in fact Migaloo.

Southern Cross University's professor Peter Harrison was given the responsibility to compare the images and reach at the conclusion. "By comparing the shape of the dorsal fin it does indeed appear that the white whale spotted through the Cook Strait in New Zealand is in fact Migaloo", affirmed Harrison.

Harrison said that it is quite an exciting discovery as it is the first time that Migaloo has been seen in New Zealand waters. Generally, Migaloo comes through along the east coast. But now, it would take him bit longer to reach at the east coast.

German shoe-maker Adidas has been known for its world class sportswear, clothing and accessories. But now the show maker has recently entered into a partnership with Parley for the Oceans that aim to end water pollution caused due to debris in oceans.

Both through their partnership created a shoe concept that will be made of yarns and filaments recycled fro ocean waste. They will also use parts of illegal deep-sea gillnets that were recovered.

Adidas said in a statement that the shoe concept is just a sign of the commitment towards preservation of oceans. The consumer-ready ocean plastic products will most probably be revealed later this year.

As per reports, an unmanned Russian cargo ship has successfully docked at the International Space Station (ISS). This supply mission has been long-awaited by the US-Russian crew as the two previous supply missions ended up in failure.

The Russian cargo ship, Progress M-28M ship, carried along with it 2.5 metric tons of fuel, oxygen, water, food and other supplies. The craft was launched into orbit on Friday from the Baikonur launch pad in Kazakhstan.

Russian Mission Control said in a statement that the craft docked successfully at the ISS on Sunday in the automated mode.

It is known that the previous supply mission ended in failure in April. Another US supply mission failed when SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket broke apart shortly after liftoff.

According to reports, researchers are looking forward to send a spacecraft into low-Earth orbit to consume a small satellite. Their plan is related to a campaign to clear out the increasing clutter in space. In the project named the CleanSpace One, researchers have been making efforts to deal with the space clutter by safely tracking, collecting and disposing of satellites considered as clutter.

On Monday, the team came up with the "Pac-Man" technique, in which, a spacecraft has a big conical net extending from the front that closes, when it "eats" the satellite, similar to the iconic video game character munching on a dot. As per reports, they are targeting a cubesat called as SwissCube, which is just 4 inches to a side.
