Video shows Fraternity Members singing a Racist Chant

A video has been circulating on social media, where members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, which is one of America's largest college fraternities, could be seen singing racist language. According to a statement given by the president of the school on Sunday, the University of Oklahoma has been investigating the video and it will be very early to comment anything on it.

In the tweeted statement, the University of Oklahoma President David Boren said, "If OU students are involved, this behavior will not be tolerated and will be addressed very quickly. This behavior is reprehensible and contrary to all of our values". The president added that confirmation would cause him to ban the fraternity chapter from campus.

Protest carried out for Third Day in Madison over Shooting of Unarmed Black Teenager

Friday night, a police officer killed an unarmed black teenager. Police said that Tony Terrell Robinson Jr. disrupted the traffic and assaulted someone in a home.

After receiving calls about a man dodging cars and allegedly beating another person, veteran Madison police officer Matt Kenny responded to the calls. Kenny followed the teenager into an apartment, where Robinson hit Kenny on his head, said Police Chief Mike Koval.

Kenny shot the unarmed teenager, who later died in a local hospital. Yet another killing led activists to carry out a protest for the third day in Madison, Wisconsin. On Sunday, more than 100 people angry over the death of Robinson marched the streets of Madison towards the capital building.

Deadly Bird Flu Strains Detected At Missouri Facilities

Missouri residents were quite scared as bird flu strains have been confirmed at two facilities there. But the officials of the Missouri's state agriculture announced on Sunday announced that the recently detected bird flu strain usually considered lethal for poultry is not a matter to be highly concerned for.

The Department of Agriculture, in a news release stated that the virus was found in turkeys at a facility in Asbury which is the state's southwest part. Positive results were acquired after preliminary examination was made for the virus.

An email from the department's spokeswoman, Sarah Alsager, stated that it is the same H5N2 avian influenza strain which was found in Idaho, Oregon, Minnesota and Washington.

Marriage more likely to end in Divorce when Wife is Ill: Study

Researchers from Iowa State University in Ames conducted a study as per which older couples are more likely to face a divorce if wife is ill compared to cases when the husband is unwell.

In the research published in the Journal of Health and Social Behavior, the researchers have evaluated divorce rate in elderly couples when either of the spouse, wife or husband, was diagnosed with one of the four illnesses- cancer, heart disease, lung disease and stroke.

The researchers came to know when either of the spouses became ill due to any of the above mentioned reasons an increased risk for ending up of their marriage was widowhood. The study was carried out for two decades.
