'Heropanti' collects Rs.6.63 crore on opening day

HeropantiNew Delhi, May 24 : Tiger Shroff's much anticipated and highly publicised Bollywood debut "Heropanti", managed to mint Rs. 6.63 crore on its opening day in the country. Trade analysts are hopeful the movie will have a promising weekend.

The film released Friday alongside mammoth star Rajinikanth-starrer "Kochadaiiyaan", which also features Tiger's father and actor Jackie Shroff.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share box office updates on "Heropanti", directed by Sabbir Khan.

Hyundai Motor to recall 2437 SUV Santa Fe units

hyundai-santa-feNew Delhi, May 24 : Automobile major Hyundai Motor India Saturday said that it has initiated a process to recall and set right a technical glitch in its sports utility vehicle (SUV) 2011 model Santa Fe.

According to the company, it is recalling 2,437 units of Santa Fe to replace a malfunctioning "Stop Lamp Switch" which is mounted near the brake pedal mechanism.

The stop lamp switch functions as an input to the electronic stability control (ESC) system, allows engagement of the cruise control system, and operates the brake lights.

Jet Airways starts third Delhi flight from Kathmandu

Jet-AirwaysKathmandu, May 24 : Indian private carrier Jet Airways has increased its frequency on the Kathmandu-Delhi sector by launching a third daily flight, the airline announced here.

The carrier now operates three daily flights on the Kathmandu-Delhi sector effective Friday and two daily flights on the Kathmandu-Mumbai sector.

Kathmandu is becoming an important market for Jet with ever growing number of migrant workers to the Gulf and other countries who use it for connecting flights to their destination countries.

Iranian actress apologises for kissing in Cannes

Leila-HatamiTehran, May 24 : Iranian actress Leila Hatami, star of Oscar-winning film “A Separation”, has apologised for creating a stir in her home country after kissing 83-year-old Cannes film festival president, Gilles Jacob, on the cheek.

The kiss, a simple peck on the cheek, happened at the world premiere of “Grace of Monaco” May 14, the opening night of the 67th Cannes International Film Festival.

Her act angered authorities in Iran. Now Hatami, daughter of popular Iranian director Ali Hatami, has apologised for her act, reports the state's news agency the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

North India's tallest residential tower in Noida

Brys-GroupNoida, May 24 : Real estate player Brys Group plans to invest Rs. 900 crore-Rs. 1,000 crore over the next four years in a project that will be north India's tallest residential tower, Rahul Gaur, chairman-cum- managing director of the company, said here Saturday.

“We will invest around Rs. 900 crore-Rs 1,000 crore and the project will be completed by 2018. We are financing the project with both bank and our finance,” he said.

Located in Noida, Sector 150, the residential tower named "Brys Buzz", will be 81-storeyed with 111 elevators and a helipad on the top of the building.
