Google Executive Chairman was joined by Walter Isaacson and Chief Technology Officer for the United States region, Megan Smith, while speaking at the 'How Innovation Happens' talk at South By Southwest festival.

Eric Schmidt was blamed by his company's own diversity manager after talking a lot about gender inequality in the tech industry that he actually started to drown out his female counterpart.

The Wall Street Journal reported that at numerous points throughout the discussion, Schmidt would cut Smith off, interrupting her to make his own points. An audience member also challenged Schmidt for continuously interrupting Smith throughout the session.

Adobe Reveals Its New Cloud Service ‘Document Cloud’

Software major Adobe has revealed its new Document Cloud, a cloud-based service for storing and sharing documents.

The San Jose-based company revealed that the service will most probably be launched in the next 30 days and will cost only $15 a month, unless a person already has a Creative Cloud or Acrobat subscription.

According to Adobe, Document Cloud represents the company's third major investment in the cloud, after the launch of its Creative Cloud, a design app suite, and Marketing Cloud, a bundle of marketing services.

As per experts, Adobe's this move shows that how dedicated the company is towards the PDF, a technology which the company first launched nearly 22 years ago.

Facebook Updates its ‘Community Standards’ Guidelines

On Monday, Facebook updated its 'community standards' guidelines. These guidelines will help provide more clarity to the users on what are the acceptable posts with regard to nudity, violence, hate speech and other such topics.

Facebook has made it clear that they have zero tolerance for the groups advocating terrorist activity, organized criminal activity or any activity that promotes hate. Facebook officials said that according to the new updated guidelines, Facebook with remove the graphic images if they are shared for negative pleasure or to celebrate violence.

Apple’s upcoming online TV service to offer around 25 channels

According to the Wall Street Journal, tech giant Apple is in talks with various programmers to offer a bundle of 25 channels online starting this year. Apple's streaming TV service will come with a $30 to $40 monthly subscription. The access to channels such as ABC, CBS and Fox will be offered to the users this fall.

However, Apple is not in talks with NBCUniversal, owner of the NBC broadcast network and cable channels like USA and Bravo, because of a falling-out between Apple and NBCUniversal parent company Comcast Corp.

Although, the tech giant was reportedly in early-stage discussions with Comcast a year ago to offer a streaming-television service that would allow Apple set-top boxes to bypass obstruction on the web. However, the negotiations failed.

Nintendo enters alliance with DeNA to develop new games for mobile devices

On Tuesday, Japanese electronics and gaming company Nintendo announced that it is entering an alliance with Japanese mobile game company DeNA Co.

DeNA, which is based in Tokyo and was founded in 1999, has a reputation of an innovator and is one of the most successful of a new generation of Japanese technology companies. The company develops and operates a broad range of mobile and online services including games and e-commerce.

Nintendo has tied-up with DeNA in order to develop games for mobile devices. The alliance will combine Nintendo's intellectual property and game development skills with DeNA's expertise in mobile games.

Both the companies will focus on building apps for smart devices and setting up a worldwide membership service to launch this fall.

Man arrested for leaving Backpack Meth Lab inside Wal-Mart Bathroom

On Monday night, the Pendleton District Meth Suppression team arrested a man suspected of leaving a backpack meth lab inside a Muncie Wal-Mart last week. According to reports, the backpack was left inside the Walmart bathroom.

The man, Tyler Armstrong, was arrested by the squad at the Taco Bell on South Madison Street in Muncie. As per police, the 25-year-old man tried to resist the officers, but was arrested and taken into custody for further investigation. The man has also been charged for resisting law enforcement, the police further stated.
