Karachi, July 23 : Ahead of the two-Test series against Sri Lanka beginning August 6, Pakistan head coach Waqar Younis has said that although his team has a nice balance of quality spinners and pacers yet it is no match to the likes of Dale Steyn and Morne Morkel in the South African team.

Before starting the training camp for Pakistani team at the Gaddafi Stadium on Monday, Younis also added that it will be unfair to compare the Pakistani bowlers with Steyn and Morkel because they are much younger, the Dawn reported.

Southampton (United Kingdom), July 23 : Geographers at the University of Southampton have found a link between increasing average temperatures in India and a reduction in wheat production.

Researchers Dr John Duncan, Dr Jadu Dash and Professor Pete Atkinson have shown that recent warmer temperatures in the country's major wheat belt are having a negative effect on crop yield. More specifically, they found a rise in nighttime temperatures is having the most impact.

According to the study by Cornell University, if an adult puts something on his/her plate , its going to end up in their stomach.

The researchers, who analyzed 1179 diners, said that we're a Clean Plate Planet and the part of why people finish most of what they are served is because they are aware enough to know how much they'll want in the first place.

Washington, July 23 : Astrophysicists conducted a simulation study in order to have a better understanding of the formation of the oldest-known star in the galaxy.

Research led by Dr. Stefano Bovino at the Institute for Astrophysics Gottingen (IAG), investigated SMSS J031300.36-670839.3, on a supercomputer of the North-German Supercomputing Alliance and by using the star's abundance patterns, the scientists have performed cosmological simulations which included the dynamics of gas and dark matter as well as the chemical evolution.
