Pepsi is looking forward to introduce a new line of soda in the US. This is a step taken by the company to enter the growing health conscious US market.

According to Time, PepsiCo is planning to release natural soda flavors in a fountain made to resemble a craft beer dispenser. Flavors like orange hibiscus, black cherry with tarragon, pineapple cream, and agave vanilla cream will be included in the new line. The flavors will include naturally-sweetened sugar cane in place of high-fructose corn syrup.

On Thursday, researchers from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School reported that a new blood test can reveal a person’s entire virus history.

According to researchers, the $25 test known as VirScan can detect past exposure to more than 1,000 strains of viruses from 206 species. It works by detecting antibodies, highly specific proteins the immune system has made in response to viruses.

The test was tried on 569 people in the United States, South Africa, Thailand, and Peru. The findings revealed that many of them had been exposed to about 10 species of virus.

Most of these were the ones that cause cold, flu, and gastrointestinal illness. But a few had evidence of exposure to 25 species, something the researchers had yet to explain.

According to a study, almost 33 million adults already suffer from alcohol problems in the US, but most of them don’t seek help. The study was conducted by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism.

The study tells the difference between healthy and problem drinking in people. People who indulge in heavy drinking experience at least two symptoms out of 11 that have been mentioned. These symptoms may include heavy drinking that adversely affects performance in school, job and home in addition to frequent hangovers; one is also not able to limit drinking. These symptoms indicate levels of severity of the condition.
